Galliano In Pursuit Of The 13th Note

Hey, thanks! For me, Jazzmatazz 1 is seriously awesome. I've never heard of Beaumont Hannant, but if you say it's still good, I trust you...

@Dr. Fottermeier: for me this album doesn't sound outdated at all, on the contrary... clearly it’s an album from about fifteen years ago, you can tell it’s not from now but it still overflows with ideas... it might be a bit naive, but damn, that’s fine... @Odradek: well, it's the same story with D*Note... they aren't 5-star albums, but since everyone has forgotten about them and no one cares, I prefer to give them a bit of a boost in the rating (which, as always, is nonsense, just read the review and you'll understand) so that someone gets interested and goes to dig them up. @Mien: give me the link for LoudBomb so I can check out the samples. But I don't know the US3, sorry...

I like this review... I'm afraid they really wouldn't tell me anything.

the review was too trivial for me to read it all. best album by U2.

I didn't understand this.

@Alessio: don't worry, I didn't even give a rating and I didn't speak ill of the album as much as I did about the artist, whom I’ve had the chance to listen to multiple times and see live, and he still doesn't convince me, so I don’t see why I should listen to one of his albums even fifteen times. @Azzo: I might be Aristotelian, but I stand by my opinion. I didn't say a damn thing, I only said that the premise of the review seemed exaggerated to me and you got offended. That's it. The rest is boring and just controversy (even saying that I don't give a damn is part of it, otherwise I wouldn't still be here), although I still wonder how you can claim to be objective (and the funny thing is you accused me of being pretentious) since for me the so-called praised objectivity in art doesn't exist.

Thanks! But in my opinion, Grant, this might please you... in its own way, it's pretty brit.

Look, Azzo, I don't give a damn about what you think or about the controversy. I'm free to comment, and I will. Even though I haven't heard the whole album, I've formed some ideas and expressed them. You got offended because I don't agree with you? Well, then you're being a bit childish. As for the rest, yours is a futile controversy. I stand by my opinion; it just seems a bit hasty to label an album from two years ago as classic. Among other things, how can you demand to be objective? I've never claimed that and I have never asserted that I am. I speak for myself and that's it, and I'm proud of it. If you want to speak for everyone, go ahead, but don't include me in that "everyone." If you want to give an absolute judgment, go ahead, but it seems wrong to me.
