come on, Tex no. I wonder if this can be found easily or if it’s an irretrievable fetish...

Well, whoever had the idea could have had the good taste to decide whether to truly involve valid artists or just stick to television faces. At least we wouldn't have had to witness De Gregori duetting with Pausini or Jovanotti.

It's not my habit to leave comments like this, but for Crazy Town, I can make an exception: shit.

"scrondi"? Sorry, I'm not too old. As for the rest: who said that I, and others I don't know, don't appreciate any albums by Springsteen or Waits? For example, I was just listening to Easter by Patty Smith, not exactly an unknown album. The conversation about reviewing is different: it's possible that many people don't review famous artists because they don't feel the need to, don't believe it's necessary to talk about them, and prefer to bring their own discoveries or less well-known groups to the attention of others, right? I would also say that, moreover, it’s a very commendable attitude. Regarding my post, Geeno, it was just a response to Primiballi’s comment in the review: it's not necessarily a good thing for a band to have a solid core of fans and to keep releasing tours and albums; in fact, it's perhaps more accurate to say the opposite: often having a solid core of fans leads to repetition, to not wanting to take risks.

"When a group, or an artist, has a loyal fanbase that allows them to survive by doing what they do best (records and tours), they have undoubtedly lost creativity for centuries and will continue to offer the same (ALWAYS) old dish. If Primiballi listens to them, we can be sure of that."

How many restrictions do you want to impose? It sounds absurd to me that a guy comes here (on deB) and says, "The point is, when you reach the crossroads, choose between Albini and Gazzè (because culturally they can't be compared, beyond personal tastes)." What the hell are you talking about, and above all, who the hell do you think you are to make such judgments? And then, I hope you won’t take offense and can reconsider what you’ve written. Where does it say that in my MP3 player I can't have Kanye West and Slint? Where does it say, tell me if you know or if it's just your opinion, that the former is inferior to the latter?

Well, whether he is the best or a genius is all to be seen... let's say his albums are never below average and often contain many interesting ideas. Let's also add the not insignificant tendency to always be very heterogeneous, and we'll have an interesting artist, albeit sometimes a bit too self-satisfied. All this without taking anything away from his latest work.

Yes, beautiful album. It might seem a bit distant during the first listens, almost predictable... then it takes off and it's really an electro-soul marvel. Love Lockdown alone would be worth the purchase, and if we add that the flaws are very few, then the album is a must-have. I will also agree with Kanye in comparing this album to Thom Yorke's usual work, The Eraser.
