Sorry, it’s only 6 PM but I’m totally wasted and listening to Tv On The Radio at full blast! Does anyone have a joint to offer me? I’m about to pass out...

It's true the covers are ugly, but the Africa are great, and as bassist they have Marco Baldini from B.R. Stylers, who is the best proponent of Italian dub (at this time). Live, they kill it. When I saw them, Mada and Baldini + drummer and guitarist did an hour of insane dub/d'n'b set and then Mada is a hilariously drunk guy. LONG LIVE AFRICA UNITE!!! AND LONG LIVE B.R. STYLERS! Also, compliments on the nickname, dear Presoblu. And don't listen to Lexus: everyone has their own stupid enemies (like there's this guy who cheers for Berlusconi who enjoys lowering my averages, but fuck him!)...

No, don't worry dear festwca, I know there’s great stuff out there too (just to name one, by me, the latest Tv On The Radio is truly a masterpiece) but these are forty-somethings and compared to successful bands (like Strokes, Bloc Party, Coldplay, etc...) they have an enviable energy. Then if we shift the conversation to other music (black, electronic, and hip-hop) it’s a whole different story: there’s always new and interesting stuff...

great record as far as I know. Federico Fiumani deserves a solid 10 just for being him, and then Sassolini's voice is something truly missing in the Italian scene, it was really unique. I discovered them thanks to a live album released a few years ago with Mucchio Extra, really beautiful. it's one of the last recordings with Miro who then left. One of a kind, long live Diaframma!

very interesting bread for my hungry teeth. If possible, I would like some clarification on the distribution, the publishing house, the year, etc...

Nice review. As for them, I don't know. But is your nickname taken from the (wonderful) song by the early SubSonica?

I do media both for the album and for the review.

but the review is well done even if very school-like. I don't completely agree with the opinion. At least a 3.5 this EP deserves, sometimes it has some excellent semi-noise guitar riffs (it just so happens that I have it since I'm not a Radiohead fan, but I snagged it in a megastore in Colchester)...

as beautiful as it is, it requires some time to win you over. on the other hand, it's a highly cerebral summation of 20 years of alt-rock. listen more closely, or it just might not be for you; in that case, "de gustibus..."
