I had never listened to it so closely, but I remember the first time I saw the video for Bathtime In Clerkwell on Qoob... I was mesmerized by the madness and the rhythm of the track, and it was primarily a piece that had no intention of taking itself seriously.

The triptych Salvadanaio-Darwin!-Io Sono Nato Libero is all about 5. Three magnificent albums, among the best in the entire history of Italian music for innovation, technique, intensity, grit, lyrics, and musical taste.

Here, Syphon Filter is compared to Metal Gear Solid... for me, that's a clear blasphemy. Syphon Filter was a good game, with some innovative elements, but nothing more. Metal Gear Solid was crafted ten times better in every aspect: the gameplay for its time was definitely innovative, the storyline has always been one of the most captivating ever, the attention to dialogue, the variety of bosses and situations to face... for me, just associating it with Syphon Filter is truly an affront.

Oh my God, what a huge mistake I've made... I messed up instead of writing Mussolini for the Museum and Hitler for the piece on Auschwitz, I practically did the opposite... it completely slipped my mind! :(

Not exactly an exceptional review, given a few too many mistakes, but it maximally conveys what this album represents. The only weak point, if we really want to nitpick, lies in the first track, which starts off sublimely but then progresses into a violin-guitar dialogue that is just too lengthy and monotonous.... the rest, however, is absolutely fabulous... at the time they were too advanced to be appreciated.
