God Hates Us All is more or less on the same level as this... maybe even a bit below... Bloodline is a good starting point... here, like Disciple, there are 5, all the same, but still 5...

So... my point of view... Slayer in the '80s invented a way of doing Metal... here I had to express myself in a slightly broader way... originality is not part of the song itself, but rather the way of playing... in my opinion, the only song that steps out of the Slayer song status is South Of Heaven... truly brilliant... I adore Slayer, but the lyrics are always the same, the lyrics are always the same... the bullshit is always the same... Metallica made their first 5 albums each different from one another... in the end, Slayer are always Slayer... chaotic, exhilarating, but definitely repetitive... and whether Metallica now sucks is another story... let’s be clear, Reign In Blood is a genius album and orgasmic...

I was indeed talking about prog in relation to the combination of wind instruments and keyboards in the song form... otherwise, this is post-rock... I would say that the last album I found disappointing is more Slint than this... then I think that post-rock is an exemplification of prog, so no longer prog but a more accessible derivative, yet equally enjoyable...
