LA RECENSIONE

Who would have thought! Meganoidi have grown up!!!

Yes, because the (former) ska band of "Supereroi" and "King Of Ska" has taken the decisive step towards total maturity. Are you wondering what the step is? Call it Progressive. In this EP, there is technique, compositional skill, and all the talent of a band that follows a winding path but with confidence.

Latest generation Prog-rock atmospheres, without neglecting the classic trumpet (the weapon that made them famous among all "us" adolescents with a passion for ska) in which you can feel Pink Floydian echoes between the notes intertwined by a surprising bass and a guitar that would make anyone who learned to love them by listening to "Into The Darkness, Into The Moda" pale. This record probably represents an absolute innovation in the musical field.

Already from "Outside The Loop, Stupendo Sensation" there was an air of change ("Zeta Reticoli" above all), but who would have expected such a change? Well done Meganoidi, keep surprising us.

"This EP... skillfully mixes post-rock with hints of progressive and psychedelic in a whirlwind that is both angry and melancholic at the same time."

"A difficult and cerebral mini-album, which, if well assimilated, will be able to convey beautiful emotions."
