they didn't say it exactly like that, they said they would have loved to participate in live8 but they had sold out dates in Manchester for months that were impossible to postpone. and then they never blamed u2 and coldplay (on the contrary, they said they are "artists," like Radiohead), but simply accused the bands of not focusing on their musical careers, the same accusation recently thrown out of Eric Clapton's mouth.
