I agree completely. Well done (the guitars on the album are played by his father...)

So... finally "I have the pleasure" of listening to noise on my stereo (by the way, thanks Charles...) and I must say that my opinion actually reflects the majority of others in the discussion: the album is clearly inferior to the previous one, and the band is way too chameleonic, having shifted from trip hop to rock while copying the Floyd and not taking on a definite shape. It's worth mentioning that you've been really too harsh because while it is true that it’s sleepy and overly repetitive, it’s also true that if the baseline standard for all rock albums were this, it would be a breakthrough. In conclusion, it's nice, perhaps even beautiful... but nothing to write home about...

Last year, just because I needed a starting point to begin listening seriously (and not just a song here and there) to the Stones, I borrowed this record and gave it a good listen...unfortunately!
Too many country-blues traps in my opinion and not enough substance (I think it's a matter of taste, since I prefer Bridges To Babylon, for example...)
However, the review is worth it.

mmmmmmm so.... sexed up has the intro stolen from don't look back in anger and if I'm not mistaken, most of the songs were written by his now ex collaborator. Anyway, if you go to the forum peccati musicali, you'll discover that I didn't dislike this album (though I consider the pop of Sing when you're winning better).

Thanks. They are a collective that formed in Rome. I actually met them by chance, because the saxophonist played the album for my father who immediately passed it on to me knowing my tastes. Sayonara... :)
