I find this review really too long, Emily.
It's a hefty block that I got tired of reading after the first twenty lines.
I don't want to come off as unsympathetic; in fact, I'd love to get to know Cohen's music better, but the review just doesn't sit well with me, especially with that so-respected Italian and those lofty tones that someone has exalted: it feels like reading a page from a specialized dictionary. (Of course, I'm not going to ruin the enviable average of praise you've received.)
