But damn, is it possible that after all these years they continue to misunderstand me? IT'S NOT TRUE THAT I DON'T LIKE IT; I liked it back when I wrote the review, and even more now. EVEN NOW I don't think I could have done better. Plus, I find the criticisms of Crust again, the Sadist are among my favorite metal bands, especially in terms of bass, and they even call me arrogant in addition to defaming my tastes. What am I supposed to do, a fansite for Sadist so that I'm not misunderstood???? Help!!!!!!

You're a bit contradictory, absolutely disagreeing with you, both on the quality of the album, and on the genre classifications and somewhat erudite genre inventions that say very little.

The album is not bad, the tracks are well-structured and produced, but I definitely agree that despite the repeated self-promotion, it doesn't come close to the early works, but rather to the last "good" ones. Aside from a few riffs self-plagiarized from the early years, I don't really agree with the discussion on the lyrics, which in my opinion are quite trite and simplistic on the topic, which deserves something perhaps sharper and less thrown in your face... great review.

Sadus Swallowed In Black

The album is certainly not the most technical and polished of Sadus. However, I don't believe it is worth less than any subsequent release, primarily because from the second album onwards, Sadus demonstrates their most undeniable musical merit, which is evolution; each album is always commendably different and more evolved than the previous one, adding something extra to the style and attitude of Sadus towards the genre. Even if this has sometimes cost them somewhat prolonged pauses in studio production. This album seems to have shaped the foundations of the dry and aggressive sound and the verbal (and vocal) violence that symbiotically blends for the first time with the unrestrained fizzing and cracking (certainly and justifiably exaggerated) of the string instruments, even if compared to the later ones, it is much less foundational in terms of structures, although the bass and drum feats, already widely developed and audible, crash down unchecked over lightning-fast tempos. Bela rece, sadus fans pochi ma bueni!!

I hope that Dave Warrior is one of the usual pranks from the De-Baser users who want to discredit metal; otherwise: yes, the swastika as a symbol is ancient, but the meaning you give it dates back to the last century, so drop your beliefs about your millennial philological tradition and admit you are simply a petty and obtuse Hitler-nostalgic pro-Nazi, just like all your kind. To still have the courage to say "dirty Jew" in 2004, one must either be psychotic or totally stupid; what will you choose, my dear "think before you speak nonsense"?

Sad attempt at a tribute to cursed spring, rather poor.
