Honestly, they don't say anything to me. They just seem like a simple electronic act winking at the audience... "who knows - they might have thought - in these times, everyone sells, let's have a golden season and then vanish like another 1,000,000 little groups." Also because the magazines hype them up in an indecent... and undeserved way.

hold on everyone.
We need to clarify a few concepts.
1) It was absolutely not my intention to criticize anyone or anything. I merely pointed out which images the concept of folk, in general, evokes in my mind.
2) I have no problem admitting that I am not familiar with this genre (but are you musically omniscient? I don't think so, so take a deep breath).
3) It doesn't mean that I don't know Bob Dylan just because I say I don't like folk... I personally don’t like it, but I don't even consider it folk.

I respect yours, but I don’t agree... however, you really need to explain what they copy from Coldplay
if you want to master it, go ahead, I bought it for 11.90 with superbazza

it's not that I don't know folk. On the contrary, it's precisely because of that, since I associate it with music I've never liked, I never imagined there could be such beautiful folk CDs. I also have strong prejudices against liscio and I don't think I'll ever get close to it... but who knows, maybe one day I'll find a liscio record that will drive me crazy (ps. and don't tell me you don't know what liscio is since I've been romagnolo for 100 generations).

it's not me, my review of the live show is the other one. I got so carried away by the Interpol that I wrote my report when I got home (at 3 in the morning), and G__ was so moved by my promptness that he even published it the next morning. Anyway, I would say I agree with Independent on everything, except for Paul Banks' Morrison-like voice. For completeness, take a look at mine too: Live - Velvet RIMINI (02/12/2004 ) - Interpol - Recensione di Diggei_brusco

Hey guys, did you get the EP by Bloc Party? And does anyone know when their album is coming out? I'm waiting 50 minutes of good rock!
Guys, I know it's not a tragedy if they played like on the CDs, I'm not criticizing their style (in fact 4/5), but I would have preferred something different... Anyway, given their young career, I hope that if they show up around here again in a few years, they can offer something a bit more elaborate.
And I won't compromise on the lights: regardless of who chose them, they were absolutely I-N-D-I-S-P-O-N-I-B-L-E!
P.S. to the webmaster: why only 5 stars for rating reviews and CDs? A scale of 10 would allow for more precision.

In all honesty, after everything I had read, I expected a masterpiece. I heard it before the summer, it seems, and it didn't convince me; now, with all this hype, I approached it again to see if my judgment was a bit hasty, but instead, I am completely convinced of what I did: not buying this album. The album of the year? They won't even see it with binoculars! Absolutely nothing innovative or original; it seems to me that they are just a bad (anonymous and colorless) copy of the Rapture (who are absolutely ahead).
