If I plan to go to a concert, I always buy the ticket in advance: you never know if a wave of tiredness might make me miss the much-anticipated event, only to regret it the next day. I might listen to laziness, but when faced with a sum of Euros already spent in advance, I can only respond with I'LL OBEY AND GO!
The same happened on November fourth. Incidentally, there were also 90 kilometers of thick fog between me and Ferrara, with no one to keep me company in the car, except for Manuel Agnelli & co... I wasn't willing even a bit... Good fortune had it that an angel appeared in the form of an SDA express courier, who knew the way perfectly and took me by the hand, leading me to my destination without any problems. Great way to start an evening!
I head on foot towards the Theater with only my just-turned-on bidi, not a soul around and fog everywhere.
This theater is beautiful, truly... wow, not even the time to enjoy the location when, with beastly punctuality, the lights go down (21:30:02 at most). Applauses erupt and there they are: the red-haired Erlend and the very shy Eirik, who in a few seconds, skillfully catapult us into a divine limbo.

This account absolutely does not intend to dwell on detailing the playlist or commenting on technical prowess, but only aims to convey to everyone the charm, simplicity, and professionalism with which these two Norwegian fellas presented themselves to the audience.
Musically, not a single slip, everything perfect, highly above the average of all the other live performances I have been able to attend in my brief 26 years, and all executed as if it were a simple exercise for children.
What surprised me the most was "how" the evening was conducted by the duo.
Before arriving, between a Manuel Agnelli and an SDA courier, I had some paranoia about it being somewhat taxing to sit through an entire KoC concert (Morpheus lurking around the corner!) and feared I was right. Instead, I was greatly proven wrong, their strength being precisely not taking themselves too seriously: I lost count of the number of gags, faces, and strange looks that sprang from Erlend's tall, lanky face... does he just seem that way, or is it genuine? At times it was worrying. I would love to witness a dialogue between him and Bugo!
Yet none of this should lead you to think the musical aspect was neglected, far from it, the performance maintained a very high level, distinguishing it from start to finish. And the "End" sign appeared almost 120 minutes after the first notes, despite all the big shots out there (see Tool at the Velvet).

In short lots of charm and class, with a backdrop of heavenly music.
The highest moment of the evening: they asked the audience to be a bit closer to them, and of course, rounds of timed claps ensued, but that wasn't what they meant... they wanted a closer physical proximity: people were invited to be practically on stage with them while they played at a maximum distance of 2 meters.
Forget about rockstar attitudes, this is what it means to be truly cool! Ah, the class!
Well, now back home:
"...give the money back to your dad
I spit on today's youth...
".

Luckily, advance tickets exist!
