I'm very intrigued by the YYY.
I was completely enamored with Fever To Tell.
I really like this new work even though there’s been a shift in direction.
...but where do you hear Interpol, Sonic Youth, and Strokes in the YYY's CDs???
Buy a box of cotton swabs???

rather than engaging in useless and sterile controversies, come see them at Velvet in Rimini on February 3rd, and then we can talk about it again.

Excuse me, but is it really fair to immediately accuse someone of copying just because they draw inspiration from a genre? The new wave already existed; they certainly didn't invent anything, but in my humble opinion, they do it with great class, and for this reason, they shouldn't be considered mere copies of Interpol, another band worthy of great respect. They draw from the same vein, so what? Is it a crime? And what about Sisters of Mercy and Bauhaus? Oh dear, they sound alike—what a tragedy!!! So just because Elvis did rock and had the insight, does that mean all the others who came after him, from the Doors to Fugazi, are disgusting copycats? We need to come to an agreement! For me, it's not like that. Anyway, on Thursday the 10th, I'll be at the Rainbow (MI) to see Editors and I'll post a review of the concert.

Well, congratulations to you for your precociousness, I take back everything, and a thousand compliments for the review... if only I had known how to write like that at 16...

I just wanted to say that it would have been enough to do a little research on the so-called "milestones" of rock instead of waiting for ENEL to get closer to the psychedelic world of the VU. It's not a crime to be young; on the contrary... However, if miriamlovesrock is over 20, it had quite a significant shortcoming :)

Did you need the ad to discover this album? This isn't just an album; it's a bible. You need to have it from birth... it's terrible if parents don't provide it to the newborn right away.
