Thank you for the thought, but Donald in person, so to speak, informed me about the tasty appetizer with his newsletter.

Good! Dance at these levels proves that those who consider it the "Cinderella" of genres are mistaken.

Well, it would be better to come to an agreement before Fagen's album comes out, even though I feel more than calm thinking of at least a handful of passionate debaserioti friends. For those who want to know the secrets of the "haute cuisine" of our guys, there’s a really interesting "Making of Aja" circulating online; too bad there are no subtitles. You're right, Al. Other musicians should be mentioned (they could change line-up for each song), Dean Parks, Denny Dias, Jeff Porcaro, Michael Omartian... but I didn't want to weigh down the discussion. Thanks to you, too.

A true Master, whom I met through my best friend, more knowledgeable than me in the field of jazz, especially when it comes to guitarists.

Among the many and not entirely clear motivations that lead me to write about Debaser, one is predominant: the pleasure of sharing. When this happens within the group that I consider somewhat the "center of gravity" of all the variety of genres that characterize my long-standing listening as a "total amateur," it doubles.
Thank you all, even if Gabri's cryptic message is not completely clear to me. ;-)
Pat Martino Impressions

I hope no professional musicians come out to debunk me, but Martino is truly one of those virtuosos with heart. I'm not, as they say, a technician, but listening to him play the guitar is really exciting.

I had also started writing this review, but I work slowly. Let's say that out of 6 or 7 I start, they sit there hoping to "rise," and 1 or 2 manage to make it to the end, for your benefit.
We'll scrap this one, even though I feel a bit sorry about it because, as I already mentioned, this album contains what I believe to be the best song of the past year.
One doesn't easily shake off his deep crooner voice and his shadowy, smooth "old style" songs.
Pino Daniele Vai Mo'
Voto:
"Night that passes by" captures well Pino's "magic moment." Regarding his current production, with (few) highs and (many) lows, I largely share what has been said by the friends who preceded me.
Pieranunzi / Johnson / Baron Play Morricone 1
Voto:
The duo Pieranunzi-Morricone sparkles, especially in this first chapter that follows less-traveled paths. There's the version of "Jona che visse nella balena" by Faenza, in honor of the Day of Memory, which is spine-tingling.

If it were only for the many "slow" dances thanks to "All My Love," I would be inclined to raise the average a bit. But, all in all, I don't think it's that bad.
