I’m thinking of the album you mentioned by Grignani, very beautiful, which I believe was produced in London.
My opinion on him: an Italian singer-songwriter who has written some beautiful songs but has also made missteps, just like anyone would when facing the pressure from record labels.
But for many so-called alternates, he’s someone who imitates Vasco Rossi and sings about improbable flower beds…

Dearest Uncle, I agree with you. The big misunderstanding is to confuse pop(ular) music with commercial music; sometimes the two coincide, but it's not a rule. I really like well-made pop music and therefore I respect those who play it. Wishing you lots of good luck :)
