I did the test: It is well known that mp3 encoding mainly cuts the low frequencies and these mp3s I found were at 192Kb (so not exactly high quality...) I really felt the difference clearly (besides seeing it with the analyzer)... In fact, the magic lies precisely in the lows that mess with your hair (the famous bastard frequencies are definitely below...) Obviously in a musical program where there’s nothing to tickle us but the sounds… those sounds need to hit straight to the gut, otherwise, is it worth it?
