Some old-school hip-hop producers have also sampled Pharoah Sanders (perhaps "Astral Travelling" from "Thembi"). This to say that the review is nice, but the remarks about rap (a new genre? "Rapper's Delight" is from 1979) seem a bit superfluous to me.
I’m not familiar with the album, but I have enjoyed everything by Pharoah Sanders that I’ve listened to immensely.
