I know, zzzzzzzzzzz but it's me who is a bastard and a perfectionist about it! Maybe even annoying, I guess... anyway, congratulations on the photo, you are the number 1 debaseriana tied with kosmo, can I marry you both? :DD

The one on the cover, for the record, is indeed MF Doom, who records with that mask and performs masked, one of the most eccentric (and talented) rap artists at the moment! Also check out his side project King Gheedorah - Take Me To Your Leader, which many say is the most powerful thing he has ever put out, by Madlib ALL together, from "Soundpieces: Da Antidote!" by Lootpack (his group with the amazing Wildchild, who just released a killer solo album!) to "The Unseen" of his crazy alter ego Quasimoto (that's him, rapping while filtering his voice through a vocal compressor or something like that, really crazy stuff! :D) Oh, for info on Madvillainy Stones Throw Records label's website, see ya!

For me, the best album of 2004, but talking about the album in question, no huh? :-/ Come on, at least you could have mentioned that it’s a collaboration between Madlib and MF Doom, which was released on the Stones Throw label of that genius Peanut Butter Wolf, or delve deeper into the overall sound... But the opening of the review is still awesome :D you just needed to talk about the album, and it would have come out great!

I'll let you have it, I'm nice! It's a crazy album "The Ascension," just think that Lee Ranaldo from Sonic is on it too!

Oh, I haven't listened to it apart from the singles, but there's a friend of mine who’s a beatmaker (who also writes for Rapmaniacz and loves stuff like Lootpack and MF Doom, not an idiot...) who claims the album in question isn't bad at all. Honestly, it seems to me that, framed as a club record, it's done quite well... But I don't know if I'm wrong... Piffero, why don't you try bungee jumping without a cord instead?
