I often get suggested this on YouTube. I’ll give it a listen, even though it smells too much like trap and all those subgenres of hip-hop that, being basically an old guy (I got into this stuff in the late '90s and early 2000s), I have a hard time digesting.
You seem to be in the midst of a creative flow. Maybe you could have dedicated a few more lines to the musical side of the album, but you seem very focused on the lyrics, the content, and the relationships that connect you to certain musicians and works. Nice one.

Nice story (yo!).

It seems to me that many consider them one of the best contemporary rock bands. Is that true?

I have to say that I don't find the topic particularly interesting and I don't know the good Federico Buffa. But @[Trofeo], I know you can be a bit grumpy (like me), but "fidelizzando il pubblico" really struck me as a corporate jargon phrase. And then, this "iconico" used to also define a model of toilet mug, excuse me, but it really makes me itch 😃

One of your best "outings." Well done, Relator.

I don't know, these are musical territories I don't venture into often and frankly, I'm not a big fan of labels and the endless subgenres of rock and metal (nor do I know them inside out). I don't quite understand the point of this page though, Confalò: you say little about the album (is it really necessary in 2024?) and your account of this supposed inner change seemed a bit lacking. So what can I say, I'd rather not vote and I'll wait for your next film recommendation. Au revoir.

But how good are the Arctic Monkeys? I remember them as a respectable band from that "indie" wave of the 2000s and nothing more. I guess I’ll have to listen to them again.

I’ll be brutal and unconventional, dear Cosmic: your reviews are evocative, but they are too full of cultured and intellectual references that, in my down-to-earth nature, I struggle to grasp in their entirety. I prefer a style that is more "pane e puparuoli" when it comes to music, and above all, I don't believe that when reviewing a work of art one necessarily needs to list their knowledge or write in an "artistic" manner. That said, you have the great merit of suggesting albums from genres that are little explored here on DeBaser, and for that you deserve a prize, but I would prefer writings that are more accessible, simpler, less Blow Up and a bit more TV, Sorrisi & Canzoni. Consider it my respects.
