Siouxsie & the Banshees The Scream

I have heard better things about "Kaleidoscope" and "Juju," I will look into it further.
Murcof Remembranza
Voto:
Oh, congratulations on the names you mention, Gab. Fennesz is fantastic, even though I prefer him more for what he produced in the past compared to the (somewhat monotonous) ambient tendencies of "Venice." In any case, a great artist, no doubt.

gabbox is a bit of a problem I've been thinking about ever since I started visiting this site. I've always listened to "different" genres (Rap, Funk, Soul, Reggae, Dub, Electronic) and, I admit, I’ve never been a big fan of the classic guitar+bass+drums sound, which I've only approached (marginally) more recently. That's why I would appreciate more reviews that stray from the classic singer-songwriter revival or Indie; I try to do my part in a small way, in fact I'm almost thinking of getting to work on it (I was really torn between Peace Orchestra, "Suzuki" by Tosca, "No Protection" by Massive Attack, and a bit of Black from the '70s). Maybe take a look at the albums I've reviewed, you might find something you like ;-) Bye

I don't mind good Murcof, but it seems like a deadly bore live. Some of my friends who had the (un)fortune of seeing him live at Galleria Toledo told me about 2 hours of Ambient with just two looping videos for the entire performance. Of course, it’s not music that lends itself well to such situations, and the Lexodan effect seems inevitable... In any case, great review ;-) Hi everyone!
Bonnie "Prince" Billy Summer In The Southeast
Voto:
Many may wonder WHAT ON EARTH DOES THAT RAPPONE DI ZION HAVE TO DO WITH BONNIE PRINCE BILLY? And yet, yes, because back in the day I tried listening to "I See A Darkness": beautiful atmospheres, Post Rock echoes, and an abundance of sadness. Just too much sadness, I'd recommend a bit of sex to liven up Will Oldham's life ;D Anyway, a beautiful and touching review. Regards.
The Clash London Calling

Oh my goodness, what a scroll! It's not badly written at all, but reading it all takes some time! Clearly, I join the unanimous opinion on this masterpiece of music history, packed full of treasures, with "Guns Of Brixton" standing out above all ;-)
Morcheeba The Antidote
Voto:
I completely disagree about "Charango"; for me, it's an excellent work, second only to "Big Calm". However, I fully agree with your judgment on the album, undoubtedly the worst from Morcheeba along with "Fragments Of Freedom". Cheers :-)
Lisa Stansfield The Moment
Voto:
I haven't listened to it, but I appreciate what Lisa Stansfield has done in the past, especially her 1989 debut "Affection" ("All Around The World" was also covered by Puff Daddy!). I'll try to check it out, good recommendation.
Scritti Politti Songs To Remember
Voto:
The Scritti Politti, what a group! I agree on the album you mentioned, Soc, a masterpiece from that time. What do you think of "Metamatic" by John Foxx? They even reissued it, although I only saw it at Feltrinelli for the exorbitant price of 21 euros :-\

Alright, I’ll try to look for it and keep you posted ;-) You keep reviewing gems like this, bye :-)
