Very interesting mention, Giorgio. However, I don't agree with the analysis of their career. They debuted making Jungle/Breakbeat, they helped shape a new genre, D’n’B, with the magnificent "Parallel Universe" and "Two Pages," and with "Creating Patterns" they moved on to rhythmic and vocal experimentation, which I believe was not entirely successful. I haven't followed them for a while, but I’ll catch up with this enticing project from good old Marc ;-)

To me, he seems like a cocaine-fueled entrepreneur from luxury private clubs. Once again, in any case, the thesis is confirmed: television has the ability to create national-popular myths out of nothing that, most of the time, disappear with the blink of an eye.

Great suggestion. Personally, I always prefer, within the Free-Jazz realm, artists like Anthony Braxton, Pharoah Sanders, Archie Shepp, or Sun Ra, or at least the works from the '70s, which are more blended and closer to my usual listening. Beautiful morning anyway :-)

The beauty of it, however, is saying it while pointing at the screen and promising the abolition for the first 10 calls. Vote passionately for the Union, as they remind you on the Home Page.

Great sfascia, you've finally lent your cerebral-philosophical-ghezzian talent to review an album presumably closer to my usual listens. U got the props! :-))
