Fabri Fibra Applausi Per Fibra

What do you think, Bonnie? :-)) If you don't like Rap and you enjoy listening to the artists you mentioned, you're already at a really good level anyway ;-)
Fabri Fibra Applausi Per Fibra

I have no words, I’ve always considered Fabri Fibra an excellent MC and an intelligent person. From the collaboration with Fritz Da Cat on "Una Minima" to Uomini Di Mare, passing through the "Basley Click" project and, to some extent, "Turbe Giovanili," Fabri has always demonstrated a remarkable quality: the ability to pair a notable technical-stylistic capacity with refined and intense storytelling, imbued with nostalgia for the past and, at times, deeply moving. Since "Mr. Simpatia," I don’t know what has started to swirl in our friend’s head (too much THC?), and the new single can only be defined as the latest stage of his (d)evolution. The moral of the story: it’s undeniable that Italian Rap, for the past 2-3 years, has begun to live a second life and to finally spread in a pervasive manner; however, in many cases at the expense of quality and coherence, which have gone to hell. All we can do is hope (or cry, as a famous Massimo would say, now on his way to other shores?)

Text aside, musically I don't mind them. What I don't like is the review, which I find arrogant, smug, pretentious, and too long.

Capperi Q, what a response for the rhymes (I just read it now!). You’re right about everything; he was definitely the pioneer of cut & paste and tape looping, as well as possessing a visionary genius probably unprecedented. The question, in my opinion, remains this: maximum respect for those who laid the foundations, and maximum respect in the same way for those who prefer later artists who, picking up the innovations of the "Originators," have transported them in other directions. I'm referring to the Glitch-Rap of Prefuse 73 or the crazy cut & paste of Matmos, which I don’t consider to be better than Stockhausen (that would indeed be heresy, in addition to being a rather poor comparison), but which I ultimately enjoy listening to more ;-)

No, in the end, Lanzetta takes justice into his own hands against the friend who turned out to be a traitor yearning to become the Boss. In the final scene, he thinks he is killing Henry Silva by blowing up the safe house where he was, but he gets immediately screwed as soon as he gets in the car ;-)

Well QZ, this time I don't fully agree with your assessment, at least regarding the artist. For heaven's sake, Stockhausen is a great pioneer and experimenter, but I wonder how much his works and compositions can be considered music if they aren't just mental-intellectual musings for their own sake. I repeat, great respect for those who aren't afraid to go beyond (Autechre, Pan Sonic, Matmos etc...), but in this case, I still have some doubts. Excellent review nonetheless, my friend :-)

Already seen Vinc, and I'm definitely putting it in my all-time Top 10 crime movies. By the end of the film, EVERYONE literally dies! For Sanjuro: why stop? Keep going if you want :-))

Sorry, "Architecture" is a bootleg (notable, by the way). The album I meant is "Primitive Plus," which many consider his best ;-)

Edan! You're a great Nicholas :D I only have "Architecture," remarkable, and I might give a listen to the album you excellently reviewed. Now it's time for "Fantastic Damage" by El-P and "Deadringer" by RJD2 :-)
