Depeche Mode Videos '86-'98

The review is a bit too long and wordy for my taste. The DVD is a classic, a must-have for all Depeche-fanatics :-)

A cornerstone of Italian Rap and my childhood spent in the underground scene, which I think you could have spent a few more words on. And come on... "There are people who consider it automatic, not to back down at the first obstacle" ;-))

It almost seems like the arguments between those who listened to the Doors, Jimi Hendrix, and Velvet Underground in 1969 and those who leaned towards Claudio Villa and Domenico Modugno. Shocking, especially in the year of Our Lord 2006. Who gives you the power to issue barroom judgments with such arrogance and presumption? To me, you remain a living offense to those who have always adored and studied Rap and Black Music like I have. I would like to see what effect a post of mine similar to monsieur Divodark’s would have, perhaps released in the usual, pointless, repetitive, and self-congratulatory review of a Led Zeppelin or Pink Floyd album. I don’t do it out of principle, knowing that in this world no one holds objective and absolute truths: everyone has their own preferences, which should be respected, period (is this also an objective truth?).

Oh my God, what obscenities I have to read on this page! Posts like those from Mr. Divodark really make my skin crawl... But are there really people nowadays who have the audacity to write nonsense like RAP IS NOT MUSIC, NEITHER IS DANCE, NOT EVEN POP, AND LONG LIVE ROCK? I sincerely hope it's just foolish, adolescent pseudo-omniscient opinions; otherwise, as I see it, we are truly doomed.

Even the early productions of Lee "Scratch" Perry released by Trojan and the albums from the '70s by King Tubby ;-)

In great shape anyway, for the moment I consider it the most exciting live show I've had the pleasure of attending this year. Especially for their autograph on "Le Petit Orb" and the Jack Daniel's from Alex Paterson :-))

Yes Gab, their latest album released under the name Le Petit Orb is truly a fantastic surprise. It really deserves a thorough and enlightening review. Even though the real euphoria during the live performance was experienced with "Little Fluffy Clouds" and... AUAUAUAAAA (do I even need to say it?);D

Honestly, I'm not a huge lover of pure Dub; at best, I prefer electronic contaminations like K&D and the very first productions from the '70s. In any case, congratulations on the review, Mauri, it's convincing and comprehensive. You should have seen the intro of the Orb's live show in February here in Naples: half an hour of Ambient, echoes, and manipulations with a strong Dub flavor. Before it flowed into 3 hours of wild dancing, of course :-))
