This is one of the most famous albums in the Italian hip-hop scene, dated 1997! This is the CD of OTR & La Pina! This is "DALLA SEDE"!

1997, a year full of vitality for hip-hop in our beautiful country and this album is a full representation of it... three MCs, a DJ, and a technician give birth to a real gem! "DALLA SEDE" is above all a well-done work, rich in great rhymes, rich in enthusiasm and it is with this album that many young rappers decided to start their path (we can say I was among them) in the world of rap!

But let's start by analyzing the components... ESA is the leader, the brother of Tormento (former Sottotono), the author of most of the lyrics, and the creator of most of the beats; POLARE is the right-hand man, the classic second MC... one of the best in vocal precision; LA PINA is now a vocalist for Radio Deejay (if I'm not mistaken) and maybe that's for the best, although she's not bad in this work; Dj Vigor & Vez, well, there's no need for introductions!
The tracks hit with their energy, their authenticity, and how the three MCs manage to fit the rhymes and make them flow on somewhat new somewhat old school beats but nonetheless exceptional!

Among the tracks to highlight, there's: "LA O LA T LA R" (self-celebratory initial track of the album, sung entirely by ESA who presents the whole crew narrating their power, the chorus is legendary and goes "La O-Originale niente mistificazione, la T-Sintonizzati inizia la trasmissione, la R-Perché Esa c'ha il ritmo, Polare c'ha il ritmo, la Pina c'ha il ritmo!") "PLAY YOUR POSITION" (one of the best on the whole setlist, very introspective, divine beats and scratches, excellent performance by Rival Mc) "RISPETTANE L'AROMA" (historic, historic, historic... great reggae-style chorus with sampled female voice) "SECONDO ME" (a track that talks about the "plastic" music infecting the musical and hip-hop scene, with a minimal but effective beat... against those who give up at the first disappointment!)

IT'S A PITY THAT OTR BROKE UP, THEY COULD HAVE GIVEN US MANY MORE GEMS LIKE THESE! BUT EVEN NOW THAT ESA DOES DANCEHALL WITH Dj FISH HE ROCKS HARD!
