Among other things, the Voom Voom project had already released two beautiful singles in 2002, "Poppen" and "Ginger & Fred" (the latter also included in the amazing DJ-Kicks by Truby Trio, which the good odra rightly refers to). Women could be brought in by Qzerty; in Bari, they say he makes an impression, especially if armed with a club or blunt objects :-))

I give 5 to "It Takes A Nation..." because I consider it a crucial album in the history of Rap and music, a work that finally demonstrated that making Rap could also lead to the exposure of high-level content and a rebellion against the system, in addition to entertaining at the jams and parties of the Zulu Nation. It’s an album that I find incredibly intriguing also from the perspective of the cacophonic and Hardcore production by Bomb Squad, and for me, it remains comparable only to Chuck D and the gang's debut "Yo! Bum Rush The Show" from '87. Here are my reasons, Stinger :-)

Well, for me the Black Eyed Peas are definitely not idiots; just listen to "Bridging The Gap" (the album before the commercial success of "Elephunk") or Will.I.Am's works released on BBE like "Lost Change," which I find absolutely enjoyable and original. As for Eminem, I believe he gave us something good in the first two albums (starting with "Stan," a great lyric and a mega beat from New York producer Mark The 45 King), and for true Rap, I think there are "also" Public Enemy and the Beastie Boys, but definitely not just them ;-)

Yes, and also a bit of pastiera.

Could I know what the good anonymous means by Crossover? Just out of curiosity.

Their best album ever alongside the seminal "Paul's Boutique". I liked the review; you may be young, but to me, you write succinctly and originally. Fully approved ;-)

After booking a vacation in Spain that will be all about nightclubbing and dance DJ sets, I can't help but read with pleasure the review from good old odra :D Great review, I’ve only listened to scattered tracks from the project, so I’ll make sure to catch up right away. I’m definitely reserving a spot for Villa Arzilla; is a selection teetering between Industrial, Noisecore, and Gabba at 200 BPM welcome? :-))

"I got a letter from the Government the other day. I open it, I read it, they say they were SUCKERZ." An album not for 4, at least for me a 10/5 :-))

I saw them live in April in my beautiful Naples, and I liked them a lot, despite the not-so-suitable venue (the Modernissimo cinema!). Beautiful Martino, are you also a Moderate Neosensibilist? :-) Long live Tatranky wafers!
