Explosions In The Sky Those Who Tell The Truth Shall Die, Those Who Tell The Truth Shall Live Forever

I prefer other bands of this kind, like Tortoise, Radian, Labradford, and Early Day Miners, but I acknowledge their ability to create beautiful dreamlike atmospheres. Unfortunately, they are, alas, too "Rock" for my ears :-)

I like them, they make me move my head and my ass, and they sound good. I don't think you can expect more from tracks or albums explicitly "easy" and aimed at the mainstream ;-) Then obviously, if I find myself listening to "The Sun Rises In The East" by Jeru The Damaja or "The Unseen" by Quasimoto, I'll pay more attention to the style and the content; you have to be versatile and not apply your stereotypical beliefs to every musical category or container. You risk becoming boring and unnecessarily uptight.

Smarty, I think you shouldn’t think with blinders on. I've also been part of the club scene, and I can tell you that over time I've re-evaluated even the more melodic and commercial side of the genre. For instance, I really love the productions of "Dangerously In Love" by Beyoncé and "Get Rich Or Die Trying" by 50 Cent, or the G-Unit album. Of course, I don’t only listen to that (far from it!), but I believe that sometimes a bit of healthy open-mindedness and more dedication to having fun wouldn’t hurt at all ;-)

Comments like those from good fusillo really make me smile, and I believe that anyone like me who has been listening to Rap for almost a decade can't help but feel similar emotions when reading such statements. Even that series of intellectualisms where poets and singer-songwriters are quoted (in my opinion, quite unnecessarily) really doesn't hold much weight. I can only say one thing: those who know and allow themselves to criticize out of experience deserve all my respect; those who criticize Rap after listening to Mondo Marcio's single are better off being silent, or at least pondering their words and stopping offending fans with outrageous and laughable comparisons. Thank you.

Damn Nick, you go down to Naples just on the day I go up to Arezzo. May they kill you :-))

But no, you will always remain The First Of My List, dear. After josi_ and Enea clearly, I have a soft spot for those who tease me during intimate moments.

What a remarkable page, full of high-level comments. "Let me quote one at random: "MY LAST MESSAGE X YOU THEN I SWEAR I WON'T RESPOND ANYMORE, BE CAREFUL IT'S HEAVY: You're just a bunch of failed assholes, children of that good woman who spat you out from her filthy pussy (I even stoop low), two complete failures wandering around forums, and out of fear of being attacked, they don't show themselves for what they are but only as two annoying pests! What can I say, you're happy, which means your life is really flat...have fun, idiots! ASSHOLES! Name: Dexster | Date: 14/6/2006 | Rating: | Rating for the Album:" <-- this is music to my ears, more than Masini! Send it in droves.

Vrensis knows a lot, in the next review it seems he will criticize Pasta Del Capitano. "Too much mint and fluoride," according to his latest statements.

@BeatBoy: I was referring to the entire Beat album, there's a constant use of Moog, and also of rudimentary electronic drumming (as the good pretazzo reminds us). Not surprisingly, it remains one of my favorite Pink Floyd albums.

My vision remains this: Silver Apples take the concept of Psychedelic Rock and bring it to another dimension, adapting it to the beat and avant-garde ideas of "loop" and pseudo-Funk grooves. A situation similar to that experienced by our very own Goblin in the '70s: always associated with the Prog scene of the time, when in the end they had little or nothing to do with Prog ;-)
