Well, I would have considered Deftones and Korn, too bad for the rest of the crowd and the nightmare of spending a day among true metalheads who mosh and the most deranged of the lot :-)

I don't mind their self-titled album from '77 at all; it features the legendary "Cold As Ice," which was borrowed by the MOP for... "Cold As Ice," indeed :-)) A band worth re-evaluating, props for the recovery!

And you know that "Girl On The Moon," the track you pay the least attention to, I really love it and it was even sampled by DJ Shadow in "What Does Your Soul Look Like, Pt 2"? :-)

Well, a solid 5 for the super-hot Cristina Scabbia and Saputello's comment :-)) As for the bands and albums, it seems to me that, decisively leaning towards very easy-listening sounds, they've definitely settled into the "Gothic-Dark-Pop manneristic" trend à la Evanescence, HIM, with a sprinkle of Placebo and arrangements with a vague Electro flavor. They might appeal to some, but they feel a bit overrated to me...

I also like "Selling Live Water," kill, but I still prefer the anguish and paranoia of "Bottle Of Humans." Where else can you find another "Suicide Song"? :-)

An album packed with Moog from an obscure Italian Prog band of the time? It can only pique my interest, thanks for the tip!

Odra, if I were you, I would start with the first self-titled album by cLOUDDEAD and the "Split EP" to dive into the more Rap side of things (Rap at a distance, we're still talking about the Anticon stable). If you prefer to listen to the more recent Indie evolutions, feel free to head over to "Oaklandazulasylum." By the way, the cover of this album still has a tremendously hypnotic effect on me :-))
