An album ahead of its time by about a decade. Incredible even today.
Goblin Zombi - The Complete Original Motion Picture Soundtrack
Voto:
Excellent soundtrack, even though I prefer those of "Profondo Rosso" and "Suspiria," which perhaps encapsulate more than any others the style of the most underrated Italian group of all time. Personally, I would have also included a Jazz-Funk-Electronic among the DeGeneri; it seems reductive to apply the limited definition of Progressive to their compositions and experiments, which, in my opinion, are much more inclined towards Electronic and Black Music than canonical Rock.

I understand what you mean, even though musically, I actually prefer the English New Wave to the other "sub-currents" of the time, or anyway artists like Ultravox, John Foxx, Gary Numan, New Order, Simple Minds, Soft Cell, leading up to more "Pop-oriented" figures like Eurythmics, Tears For Fears, and Pet Shop Boys... All proudly English, as far as I remember :-)

What a nice nickname...
Smashing Pumpkins Adore

A provocation: many take for granted that the undisputed masterpiece of the Smashing Pumpkins is "Mellon Collie..". Could this not instead be their most courageous and successful album? I prefer "Siamese Dream" (which is also one of the Rock albums I enjoy listening to the most, in general), but I am almost compelled to paradoxically consider "Adore" as their spiritual testament, before the sad epilogue of "Machina/The Machines Of God"..

Simply the most controversial and underrated album ever produced by Billy Corgan and company. Rece of equal level.

I find it very interesting, I’ll look for it right away...

"they seem to me the most prototypical example of the somewhat superficial existentialism of much of the English output from the late '70s to the early '80s.." <-- Eh? :-))
Soulwax Leave The Story Untold

I prefer them undoubtedly in their new Electro-Rock guise of "Any Minute Now" and "Nite Versions"..

Totally disagree, sorry..
