Perhaps the group you propose is not exactly accessible to a wide audience, being known exclusively within the local scene and alternative circles. A nice suggestion, in any case.

Great Andrea Benedetti! He really makes you listen to everything, from New Order to Can, passing through Dopplereffekt and Autechre, and the good Karl, even when he misses the track or the artist, shows an immense and personal sense of music and rhythm.. Immense :-)

I was a bit disappointed, the title track and "Robot Rock" are stellar, the rest much less so.. It felt like a somewhat empty album..

Qz, I recently read an interview with Karl Bartos about "Superfly," and it seems that he also confessed a love for Rock, Psychedelia, and the Kraut scene. However, the evolution and ongoing search for "form" have pushed those passions to the background, leaving, more than anything else, a slight mood as a backdrop..

Yes, the early works are much more inclined towards deviant Prog and Kraut-Rock, which were all the rage at the time. However, the "formal rigor" of the popular period immediately makes me think of classical and symphonic music, in general. There must have been a reason for that "Franz Schubert," don’t you think? :-)

Seriously, enough, you can't call "Trans Europe Express" an album of great significance, it would be like giving the same label to "Dark Side Of The Moon".. It's one of the greatest masterpieces in the history of music, just get it already!! :D
