A heartfelt respect for Emanuel Fantoni and his "founding father".. :D

This, however, is a very "Zulu Nation" distinction.. Originally, Rap was considered one of the four expressions of Hip-Hop culture (which, as Lewis rightly reminds us, was made up of the famous "four elements"..), but in more modern times, having moved away from the rigid cultural "distinction" provided by the founding fathers, the term Hip-Hop is freely used to also define the musical genre..

Over time, objectively "superior" works to those of Sangue Misto (the various "Fastidio" and "I Messaggeri Della Dopa"...) may have been published, but it is impossible not to wholeheartedly promote an album of such great importance for the subsequent development of Rap in Italy even today. A true milestone (this it is), for some achieved more from a conceptual standpoint than an actual one, with some moments of forgiven naivety, but absolutely commendable and deserving of respect. Extra words could probably have been spent to describe the uniqueness of "SXM," but the few present here do not sound at all gratuitous or taken for granted.. Well done! :-)

Perhaps I expressed my thought poorly.. The so-called "dreamy" seems to me more like a nuance of the sound, certainly noticeable in all the artists mentioned, but not, on the contrary, a genre or a musical container where one can trace well-defined characteristics.. That’s it, nada mas, compares..

A 4 that satisfies everyone... The arrangements in some tracks sound really very contemporary, the "dreamy" mixing is perhaps the thing I like the least, absolutely, even though it suits a product "of this kind" quite well.. ;-)

Pietrone, I like the album, but the subsequent ones like "Victorialand" just don’t sit well with me.. In any case, the bands you mention have sounds that set them apart (and not by a little), also from an "inspirational" point of view, and throwing them all into one big "pot" seems like a bit of a forced move.. Tamarro moves the nation!! :D

No, Joe, I wasn't referring to you, I was speaking in general.. The label "Dream-Pop" seems to me more like something created specifically for the group in question, rather than an actual "musical container"..

In short, it is definitely a great album with moments that are absolutely ahead of its time, but calling it a "milestone of Dream-Pop" sounds a bit forced, and, above all, self-serving.
