I have always preferred The Holy Mountain and Santa Sangre (co-produced by Dario Argento!), even though, in the long run, the myriad of symbols, quotes, and references that Jodorowsky spices his films with ends up getting tiresome... A bit of an excessive complication, at times rather self-indulgent...

"Napoli Violenta" is EXTRAORDINARY, starting with the stunning soundtrack by Mr. Franco Micalizzi, who also composed the score for "Roma Violenta," another cult movie in the poliziottesco genre, featuring Maurizio Merli and Thomas Milian(!!!)
