To me, it doesn’t seem like a film that wants to appear unrealistic; indeed, in its simplicity (more technical than "conceptual"), it almost feels like an "everyday drama"....

Well, if "Kill Bill" is childish nonsense, I wouldn't mind if others made more of those "childish nonsense" as well... ;-) The film is easily available on eMule (with excellent audio and video quality), and it was recently aired in the late night or early morning on Rete 4... In case you're particularly impressed, I believe it's also relatively easy to find on DVD... Go for it.
