Okay, but what does it mean that you consider Frankie Hi-Nrg the only valid artist in today's Italian HH scene? Frankie Hi-Nrg's first album is from '92, and the last one is from 2003.... Those who don't know what they're talking about would be better off staying quiet, rather than issuing lengthy reviews where they keep repeating the same old clichéd phrases...

What does "imperfection" mean in the post-68 era? Is the abandonment of "classical form" (if it even exists in Jazz) a synonym for deterioration? I absolutely disagree, not only concerning Miles Davis: the evolution of Jazz sounds since the late '60s, and their fusion with Funk, Rock, and Psychedelia, is nothing less than a tremendous renewal of a musical genre that, otherwise, would have risked merely repeating itself in a sterile manner, becoming simply an elite pastime for a few chosen ones... I personally find "classical" Jazz to be music for insiders, which hardly engages those who are not familiar with that world, while I absolutely love Jazz-Funk, Cosmic-Jazz, and even Fusion (to some extent) from the '70s, precisely for that remarkable ability to renew the discourse of Jazz and make it accessible even to those who do not possess great "technical" skills in this regard...

For jazz enthusiasts, more than anything else... His second album, "Tourist," from 2000, was even released by Blue Note! Back to "Sacrebleu," you didn't mention one of my favorite tracks, "Reveries"... :-)

Nice, even though I'm not really into Fusion in general... I prefer the psychedelic Miles Davis of "Bitches Brew," or the Funk of "On The Corner"... Anyway, great atmospheric record... ;-)

Tiromancino La Descrizione Di Un Attimo

Just finished (re)listening to it now, after a long time... It’s a beautiful album, deep, magnificently arranged, with lyrics and sounds that reveal an immense compositional and poetic maturity, even though it's a bit too repetitive at times... The best album by Tiromancino, the one of definitive maturity, before the Pop-intimist and singer-songwriter evolution of their latest works... One of the most beautiful records released in Italy from 2000 to today...
