I don’t see that final "scopare" as so negative, anyway… In a film entirely based on presumed and merely possible betrayals, the only possible way to celebrate the true reconciliation (both psychological and physical) of the couple is to have sex, indeed…. Of course, there’s a critique of a "society attached to material goods" and blah blah blah, but it seems to me that it takes a backseat to the necessary carnal conjunction, which ultimately celebrates the rebirth of the relationship….

Accessibility is not synonymous with "easy-listening" or "mainstream"... A Jazz infused with Funk and the Black Music of the 70s may be more appealing to those who listen to more "modern" genres (Hip-Hop, Electronic...), while if it’s mixed with Rock and Psychedelia, it opens up to listeners who are more inclined towards those other genres... Contamination is the essence of the musical quest itself, and I don't see why a "classic" Jazz (or however you want to define it) should be considered more perfect than a "contaminated" Jazz, and why not, a more evolved one...
