I appreciate your attempt to reassess it, but I really remember it as terrible, visually annoying, and with a Johnny Depp who has become a parody of himself (the usual over-the-top role, etc...). Well, I don't even like "Big Fish" (the last Tim Burton film that excited me is "Sleepy Hollow").
