The analysis is certainly deep and accurate, albeit a tad too long. The religious comparison feels a bit forced, but it fits due to the epic mood that characterizes the saga. It's clear you're a "fan" (let's put it that way) of Tolkien, his books, and Peter Jackson's trilogy. Conversely, I don't love fantasy: I've seen all three films in theaters and remember little, except for the state of my scrotum after watching the third and final film. I also recall an audience member who, after three exhausting hours, exclaimed "LASSA FA 'A MARONNA!" (Praise be to God, more or less), getting up shocked from his seat after a fade to black. Then the film resumed and everyone, and I mean everyone, shouted "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!". A deafening roar, that was truly unforgettable.
