Absent In Body Plague God
Voto:
1) an intro with an epic/literary flavor
2) a meticulous description of the band's lineup
3) an unavoidable reference to the old school and the glories of metal's past
4) a lavish abundance of adjectives
5) a conclusion with satanic/diabolical references
5 solid stars.
Harold Budd, Simon Raymonde, Robin Guthrie & Elizabeth Fraser The Moon and the Melodies

Damn, Enè, I had to read it with a dictionary under my arm 📖
Despite the praise for Elizabeth Frazer’s vocal abilities, the review remains excellent. And I think I'll get the album.
PS: I saw her live in 2019 at the Massive Attack concert where they played the entire "Mezzanine." Unfortunately, her voice didn’t enchant, in fact she really struggled to hold some high notes. What a pity.
Baffo Banfi Galaxy My Dear

"Baffo Banfi." A cross between Roberto Da Crema and the good Lino? Double 5 right away.
Massive Attack Blue Lines: 2012 Mix/Master
Voto:
A great debut, even though they were a bit immature at the time. Of course, "Mezzanine" is on another planet.

I care about you, Stanlio, but while you can have a blunt opinion about Hitler, sometimes you could also make a point 🤣
Alio Die Quot dies resurgo

Short, concise, evocative. In other words, one of your best pieces on DeBasio. Very interesting proposal, I'll listen to it.

Everything's great, but you could have spared us that "sassà prova microfono" in parentheses 😄

Shall we also talk about the noble art of "fish in hand"? A luxury for shy and solitary dirty-minded people. Regarding the record, you like this very expansive ambient/drone music, which needs a solid drug base to be fully appreciated. I could give it a try, but to be honest, I prefer the "fathers" of the genre (Brian Eno, the Cluster, Jon Hassell, Harold Budd). Assuming there are fathers and sons.
