I almost forgot the stars.

Brief and concise review, well done Rina!

Sorry, G., I accidentally hit send.
Four on the reception, I won't express my opinion on the work until it's finished. As often happens, I can't, that damn thing, assign the stars. Anyway, let's pretend they are assigned, okay?

You can always wake up and note with painful awareness that what you hoped for is not granted to you as in a dream.
Zephyr Zephyr

A narrative similar to many other characters caught in the web of drugs and exploited by others without scruples. However, the Zephyr really weren’t anything special; you could feel the desire to improve and progress, but in an hard style rooted in blues. I mean, in all that mess that the genre offered back in the day, it seems normal that the high selection led to casualties among the weaker and less gifted.... I’ve read much different reviews about Del Conte (blessed boy!), this one perhaps a bit too enthusiastic and apologetic.... Three for the review and two for the work, and I eagerly await the next from the Noble Lord who watches over us from the heights of his manor....

Now someone will come after you about the track listing, but I really like it, discussing an album in general and song by song. Here on DB, it seems like there are a lot of purists of the hard and pure review... Four and four is fine?

No no no no... Rather than this stuff, with really nothing else to do, on Italia 2, on Monday nights, there’s Sheldon Cooper, at least I can die laughing and not because of the insipience* of so many tattooed guys in flip-flops, with trendy beards, and so on.

* I said "insipience," since you're a well-mannered kid, right?

You invite me to get to know them, as I am even unaware of their existence. Remedy.

I completely align with what Joe wrote; this is the starting point for the career of the Elii, not just for a purely chronological reason, because it's the first, but because the stylistic and lexical musical statements would be repeated in all the subsequent albums, all of them, without exception. Of course, our band would later reach greater peaks of maturity, even in the field of individual instrument skills, where each one of them stands out for their technical excellence in Italy. However, they would always continue to develop the concepts presented with such clarity (and cheekiness, whether planned or natural is uncertain) up to the creative peak, probably identifiable already in the second "Italyan Rum Casusu Cikti" and in the following "Eat The Phikis." After so much routine with some strokes of genius and a strong desire to pay tribute to Frank Zappa, his music, and his always provocative themes, even bordering on the understanding of the masses. But I believe, and reassure me on this, Joe, that the Elii have always been highly unconcerned about the immediate understanding of the masses, right?
