I know Nothing From Nothing and the piece you mentioned, Outa Space, after the nothing. I will try to fill this gap! Excellent writing, as always!

Ah, dear Backer was a regular at prisons all over the world, ours in particular. His first love (heroin) brought him in while the second (the trumpet) pulled him out, until the first finally won. What a beautiful collaboration that was with Pieranunzi, in our Italy which for him was a second home.

In sixty years, the Beatles will be packed with followers, and the religion will go on tour in semi-deserted arenas!

Sure, it's a matter of taste, but knowing your musical preferences, I would have bet that you liked them. Thanks, Uncle!

Anecdotes still alive in the minds and in the English almanacs. The record (officially LP, but its mere 20-minute length gives it an EP dimension) is the kind that sticks to your skin: all produced by Thorn in her little bedroom, just voice, guitar, and microphone. She reinforced some points with backing vocals in post-production, but nothing more. Cherry Red was so enthusiastic about this recording (despite being minimal and sparse, Thorn's voice is as enchanting as a siren’s song) that they left the product just as it was delivered. A production that sold over 100,000 copies in the first three months, reaching the top of the charts for a couple of weeks, all for the ridiculous sum of £138. Thank you, Pin.

Great band and beautiful album, although my favorite remains The Millpond Years.

Wow, I had no idea that this figure who dominated foreign policy, as well as world affairs, in the news broadcasts of the last century, passed away only in 2023 at the venerable age of 100. But the most shocking thing is that the aforementioned work was published in 2022, when he was 99 years old. There is hope for everyone in life.
