Oh yes, it's difficult to define the originality of Truffaut, the particular sensation that each of his films leaves. He is my favorite director; I've seen all his films, even the short ones. This one is among the best and stands out for a certain stylistic anarchy. Watching Pulp Fiction, I couldn't help but think that Vincent and Jules were a bit like the offspring of the gangsters from this film, even though it's hard to imagine two directors more distant than Truffaut and Tarantino. You were amazing at bringing this wonder to life.
