I am a big fan of the Beatles... but I think they wrote both absolute masterpieces (absolute!!!!!!!) and very mediocre songs... however, I really like the submarine and I find that it fits quite well in Revolver... by the way, the references to childhood were, at least during that period, typical of psychedelia...
