In my opinion, your best review... I’ve never really delved into Ray Davies, I only know those ten or fifteen songs that everyone knows... I have an instinctive fondness for him... Since I’m at it, I recommend a beautiful book "All the Madmen: The Dark Side of British Rock" by Clinton Heylin, topic: the relationship with depression of people like, indeed, Ray Davies... and Barrett, Drake, Bowie, Townshend...
