The album represents a studio reinterpretation of some tracks performed during the last tour. I disagree with the notion that the first chapter of 'perfect element' is superior to 'scarsick', which is undoubtedly more heterogeneous and features stylistic choices and sound explorations that are decidedly bolder. The two chapters of 'road salt' are wonderful from a musical standpoint and showcase Gildenlow's continuous quest to change skin and experiment with different musical genres, always producing albums of absolute depth. Finally, 'be', aside from a few episodes, has never seemed to me to be the masterpiece it has been proclaimed to be. I am straight too. Nevertheless, I am quite confident that with the next album, they will shuffle the cards once again, comme d'habitude.
Hi Ozzy.

the final breath of a superlative band, with 'better days' standing out above all. Flawless and incisive reception.

I stopped at Pure, which I find decidedly ugly, but I think I’ll give it at least one listen. Jargon King, Jabberwocky is a well-played, well-sung album, meticulously crafted in every detail, just like every production by Mr. Clive Nolan. If you don't like the genre, that’s another story. The same goes for Arena, who remain an extraordinary band of the genre up to Immortal. It’s clear that the proposal comes off as derivative (it’s defined as neo-prog), but so did the proposal from Marillion, who are indebted to Genesis, even though I personally much prefer Marillion. As for Pallas, Twelfth Night, IQ, we’re talking about second-tier bands of questionable importance with decidedly limited compositional ideas.

Useless band for simple minds.

At least he has started writing lyrics again, a nice little album compared to the emptiness represented by the rest of his discography, aside from the first two.

Waters has always been, objectively, the undisputed leader of the group. The others are just supporting players (of luxury, in Gilmour and Wright's case). The Pink Floyd experience ended with Waters' departure from the band (and you can tell). "The Final Cut" would be a bad album? Are you sure you feel that way? I'm telling you this because, objectively, "The Gunner's Dream" and "The Fletcher Memorial" are two fabulous pieces, worthy of the best Waters, even though the rest is not to be underestimated. "The Endless River" simply isn't a Pink Floyd album, just like the two previous ones aren't. I also remind you that both "Animals" and "The Wall" are works that are 95% solely Waters'. The considerations are yours. Cheers.

Excellent album balancing between A.O.R. and prog. "Brag" alone is worth the purchase. I was fortunate to see them live as the supporting act for Marillion back in '89 and I preferred them to the much more acclaimed Marillion.

I've always liked texts that deal with hordes of horny gay wolves stalking virgin Laplanders. The only reason why the productions of Tony Kakkola and company are not always up to par is justified by the fact that for the ineffable Tony, music is a hobby. In fact, he represents 50% of the

I had the immense pleasure/honor of seeing him at the forum in '94. Undoubtedly the most beautiful concert of my life. As a performer/entertainer, he has no equals. 5+ across the board.
