With this review, I will only express my opinion, I am not a musician but just a listener.

So don’t bother me with provocative comments, instead, mold your excrement into the shape of a glans and ingest it all; if you manage to expel it whole, you will have found a better way to spend your time.

"Mondovisione" did not thrill me, but let's start with what I liked about the album:

I found this album well-executed and mixed; every track sounded pleasing to the ear both for its sonic quality (all the instruments are clearly perceived, without one overshadowing the others) and for the catchiness of the arrangements (all the songs have melodies that easily stick in the head).

The same goes for the vocals; the voice is not put in the forefront compared to the instruments, and everything is a pleasure to listen to.

I didn't really like the lyrics much because although they are well-written and fluid, they are too focused on the choruses. The verses give the impression of only serving as an introduction without having real importance in the piece (also due to the excessive use of anaphora; it's fine to do so in one or two pieces, but for an entire album, it becomes tiresome).

And then, the main flaw of the work is that the songs are too similar to each other.

This in itself wouldn't be a problem; there are plenty of albums like this, but although they are catchy, only a few have real impact and truly strike a chord ("il muro del suono", "la terra trema, amore mio", "per sempre", "ciò che rimane di noi" and "sono sempre i sogni a dare forma al mondo" are sung with more feeling and have conveyed beautiful emotions to me).

That's it, over to you DeBaseriani

Ligabue manages to attract followers and keep attention high while continuing to offer little substance.

His voice is the only identifiable and ultimately original trademark that distinguishes him from a massive crowd of singers.
