I have always found it rather boring.

I agree with Yorke, the Bennato of the eighties is absolutely valid, songs like 'Asia', 'Zero in condotta', 'Guarda là' to name a few, have nothing to envy from the previous decade.

I bought Bennato’s. Highly recommended.

never digested. Too often unnecessarily verbose. Cohen is by far superior and then he has a voice that you would follow with a club.

The barking of Tom Aratro and the super nasty poses of Hanneman and King have always made me laugh a lot. You have to look for musical quality elsewhere.

Great review for a great album.

I fundamentally agree with madcat: origin of simmetry is amazing, then I go all the way to Black holes and revelations, where they still managed to change their skin, after that, complete dismay. What a shame.

Beautiful live, the version of "Le tue mani su di me" is superb. Enviable setlist. Sterility? Come on, please...

sleep-inducing album, apart from the title track. I was at the concert in Cusano Milanino too, and I would have happily kicked them in the ass. Embarrassing live performance, furthermore stuffed with sampled sounds.

So, Nes, if I understood correctly, the '80s would have produced crap. But come on, really... Within the charts, there was a mix of everything, even great artists, so it couldn't have all been sludge.
