Of the entire album, I appreciated "Undercover of the Night" only a little; the rest nothing, listened to once and forgotten instantly. Definitely better (in my opinion) is the previous album.

"With Counterparts, Rush decided to firmly plant their feet on the ground after soaring above everyone for years, unattainable and unimitable"; in my opinion, you’re very wrong, even after Counterparts they have been and still are unattainable and unimitable. The review would be a 3.5 rounded to 4, but I’m giving you a 2 for including "Grunge" and "Power metal" among the genres, which have absolutely nothing to do with Rush.......

I finally listened to it, and once again I confirm my theory: Serj, just like Daron, have a reason only within SOAD (which, after a year, have heavily irritated me), outside of them they are just cannon fodder.

You're absolutely right about one thing: "Chris DeGarmo, soul and mind of the band." Indeed, only he could make at least the previous two albums of the "cursed trilogy" somewhat worth listening to (though I quite like them). I listened to the album some time ago when I had just started getting into the band, and I immediately understood that from here on they could only get worse, and indeed they hit rock bottom with "Dedicated to Chaos"......
