You made me want to pull out the albums I used to have (I listened to them millennia ago). Besides the "glorious" Heavy Demons, I had forgotten that I also had In Death of Steve Sylvester! (where they cover the good old Alice Cooper and even Mercyful Fate!). All this to say that I didn't remember SS singing so poorly on that album!

" this will happen with the following "Evolution" (1980) " I assume this is a typo. Did you mean Departure?

Well done, very professional! I must say that AOR is a genre I've always scorned, but you're making me want to pull out something by Journey, Toto, Rush, etc. for this spring.

But… am I the only one who thinks the final suite of this album sounds very (too) similar to "A Saucerful Of Secrets" by PF? I mean, it starts off very softly, there’s a drum break, and then a dreamy and melodic ending with vocals? Meh.

Beautiful... it has that indefinable quality that makes you forget it every time. However, I remember it has some really beautiful bass lines.

When it comes out for PC, my social life will come to a screeching halt :D

Jeffrey Lee Pierce... you used the magic word. Now I will have to find them (sooner or later).

I don't know how it is in person... but it has always given me an insane vibe. I've never followed it live, but with the moloko it was truly explosive (and I mean musically here :) )

Well... I actually don't consider the album a landmark but rather a nice little pop record, colorful. I prefer it, for instance, to Cindy Lauper (She's so unusual) even though I wouldn't say I take it too seriously (as an album).

maybe even a little touch-up here.
"(saran stati contenti gli americani) and they must have sold" --> "(saran stati contenti gli americani) and THEY MUST have sold"

and with this, I’m done. Absolute liberty in ignoring this request obviously :D
