Wow. I was in elementary school when the publication of PKNA started with issue 0 0\2 and 0\3 (I couldn't make heads or tails of that numbering). I loved it!
What a beautiful series that I sold for something like 20,000 lire (what an idiot I was!)

Even MM was really great.

For Soundgarden, it's from BadMotorfinger (an album I've loved since the MEDDAAAL days) onwards (I've been loving the last two more and more over the years). I'm listening to Louder Than Love for the first time just these days. Not bad as an album, even though I still don't see the completeness of the later works. Ultramega OK intrigues me: and may God have glory for Black Flag and their label SST, which was a true beacon in the night for at least a decade!

I've been listening to it these days. They lose a lot of the raw, Dinosaur Jr.-esque kraut blues vibe of the first album and get a bit too close to the Mogwai style for my taste.

It's nice, but the best Bardo Pond for me will always be the ones from Bufo Alvarius.

I read in jiro that this album would be the compilation of the entire discography of DADAMH. An EP with the first 6 tracks while the last 5 are some scattered stuff. Well, the first 6 tracks are sublime (haha, what a retro adjective)! Truly a great EP, simple, trippy, and with that little something extra that made me love it right away. The last 5 tracks don't seem to be at the same level (maybe they made them earlier? Who knows) especially in terms of sound (which perhaps is what gave that something extra to the first 6 tracks). Anyway, this "This Is Not A Dream" has been an amazing discovery for me over the last month.

Nice review. I only have the first one from them. You make me want to catch up on more of their work too.

Aside from your comment on the TON, nice review. I only have Tyranni and Mutation by them, and you reminded me that it’s time to get Secret Trates.

Anyway, the other day I was watching Iron Man 3 and at the beginning, for almost 5 minutes, you can hear Blue. That's awesome (in a good way)!

Congratulations! Really beautiful review!

I'm listening to it for the first time these days. I must say that the effect it has on me (along with Electro Shock) is not one of sadness and "depression" at maximum volumes, unlike many others.

but whatever RR. If the feedback is too personal, then you don’t provide information; if it’s outlandish, then it’s rambling and makes no sense; if it’s overly precise and stuffed with information, it’s boring; if it’s short and sleek, then why do you need to write it. blah blah blah blah.
