The reviews I would love to read every day here. Well done, you learn by reading from you, and I really appreciate your perspective.

Something similar happened to me at a concert... but I left home (alone) to go to London :( And they told me at the entrance of the "place" (it was actually a space in a kind of fair area in East London) that the concert was canceled.
Well, I had still planned to stay for a few days anyway, and I managed to have a good time, but what a slap in the face :D

Always nice to see Death on the homepage.
As I've said many times, nothing from DEATH is to be discarded, but I consider this one the least valid.
For instance, an Scream Bloody Gore or (especially) a Leprosy still blow me away today because they're so brutal. A Human, an Individual or a Symbolic even give me chills. This one is a bit in the middle, so I place it a bit behind the others... but it’s still Death, damn it!

Damn, the first paragraph takes me back more than ten years (HELP!)
Anyway, no bullshit... Judas Priest, an amazing band that still hasn't broken free from the pure and sole metal scene (maybe because of their somewhat ridiculous image) but truly deserves to. In the end, they are history, and their classic albums (from Sad Wings of Destiny onwards) have certainly made their mark.

I accidentally saw them live (in the sense that it was a festival and I wasn't there for them)...and I have to say I liked them. Great energy and fun. I honestly don't remember their music, though...maybe one day.

Anyway, at the Fabrique the acoustics are so bad that they should refund the tickets. Both the volume and the mixing were really awful.

I didn't mind the concert itself, 3 days was exciting despite the awful acoustics. They were really in shape (they must have made a pact with the devil or maybe heroin is good for you, who knows).

Farrell was super stylish and super effeminate, which was something strange; by the way, his wife was also among the strippers... the only one who really got undressed. GO FIGURE

In any case, it was an experience I enjoyed. In fact, I would have liked them to play at least half an hour more.

Obituary is probably the Death metal band I've seen live the most times (the last time was with Napalm Death and the immense Carcass, and I must say they were a bit overshadowed :D). I have this somewhere but I can't remember it for the life of me. Instead, apart from the classics, I remember a Back From the Dead that had some kind of rap-Death metal thing that I never figured out if it was crap or not, but it still had its charm :D

Seen today, where the most rock thing that goes around among kids seems to be indiemmerda, it's incredible how back in middle school (and in the provinces as well) it was all the rage to listen to these jerks, the RHCP, the System, Korn, and of course Nirvana... such sweet nostalgia.
Then, oh, me who doesn't understand a damn thing, I kinda hated Limp (especially for their dissing with NIN... TRENT-one-DEE-noi).
Listening to them today brings a lot of tenderness (in a good way).
