Nice review
Of Unwound, I have Leaves Turns Inside You, which perhaps due to its encyclopedic nature and the infinite references has always felt too familiar to me.
In the sense that when I feel like listening to it again, I can't help but think of the thousand bands that inspired it, and it always ends up with me listening to those instead.

I see I'm not the only one with prejudices about Ozptek :D
The last film of his that I saw was "Mine Vaganti" with Scamarcio. Not bad, but not great either. I remember a bothersome character of an old lady suffering from diabetes who dies while eating sweets.
I'm not sure what bothers me about his poetry; maybe the supposed romanticism of the characters that I interpret as pure narcissism?
Who knows.

Eeeeh. I've been collecting it for 20 years and with this, I’d say it's time to stop (for many reasons). In a celebratory issue, the meta comic could have worked too. Too bad that even issue 399 (horrible) was based on that. And the previous cycle was handled poorly. It saddened me that Sclavi agreed to appear in this 400 to get killed off and thus definitively pass the torch.

Everyone has said it...to be a good movie it doesn't have to be the same as the book (very often, indeed!).
But you mention events from the book that I don't recall. HORROR!!! It was practically the book on which I learned to read (giant edition with beautiful illustrations). I'll have to review it.

I only know Bley from the collaborations with Wyatt.

Polo is the right mix between a troll/provocateur and a serious user. I honestly don't find anything inappropriate in his comments. I moderately like REM (for instance, I consider UP a great album), so the rant about their entire discography somewhat "bothers" me, but I must say it's not even something so heretical (written by someone who doesn't like them). If you had made the comparison only with Monster instead of their discography, I would have backed you up entirely.

Come on. I didn't know... well good for them. Making music is their job and if they have fun, that's great. I don't think, of course, that I'll listen to it.

"In the same days that global critics are deciding that Lana Del Rey's latest is better than Bach,"...càn, very true.
It’s been a while since I’ve seen an album so undeniably at the top of the charts.
I don’t mind her, I’ll have to listen to it sooner or later.
The cover is truly, truly horrible (I mean Lana’s, I don’t even know who these others are).

I vote for the review and the comments.
HBO I Soprano

Beautiful series that I can hardly remember anymore, unfortunately.

"Despite the premature farewell of the giant James Gandolfini, we are led to believe that Tony Soprano is alive, out there, somewhere" -> well, God... not really, given how it ends.

"the terror that someone might shoot him in the head, without seeing their face, without even knowing one of the many, too many whys." -> you're right here, the ambiguity of the ending makes it a great finale.
